Despite recent difficulties, the negotiation between AS Roma and FC Porto for Rodrigo Mora has not been interrupted; in the last hours the parties are meeting confidently to reach a final agreement.
The discussed formula remains a purchase for 25 million euros, with Roma entitled to 50 % of any future resale, plus a series of performance‑related bonuses.
A few days ago the deal seemed close to being concluded on the basis of a loan with an option to buy and a conditional obligation, but Porto subsequently introduced new requests that halted the progress.
The impasse generated an exchange of communications between the player’s legal representative and Porto’s head coach Vítor Farioli, although no definitive break‑off has been reported.
Parallel to the Mora talks, Roma continues to pursue the signing of Luis Henrique from Inter; the Brazilian forward has given his assent to a move and the giallorossi intend to finalise the operation after the Mora situation is settled.
